The House of Three Cheers has collaborated with The Original Beekeepers to create a video album of music and visuals.  The album consists mainly of 'lockdown songs' and is on the experimental/ambient side. In celebration of International Nothing Day on January 16th, the Original Beekeepers have recorded a dreamy new song called "Purposeful Attempts To Do Nothing" with a video from the House of Three Cheers. It’s a  tribute to doing nothing... and wearing slippers.  The song is powered by the Omnichord — a wonderful early eighties novelty keyboard from Suzuki which sits somewhere between a Casio and a stylophone.  Steve from the band says, “We started the song in 2003 and only got round to finishing it this week. "Reena" is a delightful tale of gentle countryside japes, starring Mr Nicky and his woodland friends, Reena, Eric and Fox. Inspired by children’s TV classics like Fingerbobs, Bagpuss and Teddy Edward, it features music by The Original Beekeepers with support from members of fellow band Shammy Leather, narration by acclaimed voice artist Lincoln Wood, lovely photography by John Coulson and Tom Owen, and video editing by Simon Beecroft.
